Experience the wonder of the night sky at the Oak Knoll Star Party, a free, family-friendly evening event celebrating International Dark Sky Week. Join us on April 20 from 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm at Oak Knoll Park for a special opportunity to explore the stars and learn more about the importance of protecting our night skies.

This event is partnered with the St. Louis Astronomical Society, with knowledgeable volunteers on site to set up telescopes and help guide attendees through what they’re seeing in the night sky. International Dark Sky Week highlights the vital role darkness plays in healthy ecosystems, scientific discovery, and our connection to the universe—while also raising awareness about the growing impact of light pollution.

The event is free and open to all ages. Children 12 and under will receive star-themed goodie bags while supplies last.
